Mr. Bonebrake is a Managing Director at Blue Beacon Capital. He has more than 20 years experience as an investment banker and advisor to communications and technology companies globally. He has executed IPOs and other equity offerings, M&A advisories and bond offerings totaling over $20 billion in transaction value.

Mr. Bonebrake’s advisory experience in the communications sector is broad, having acted as investment banker and advisor to companies in the communications services, internet infrastructure, telecommunications equipment and new media sectors. His experience includes advising governments on market liberalization/privatizations as well as incumbent operators and entrants on market expansion. Mr. Bonebrake has significant experience working with early stage TMT companies in developing strategic plans, raising growth capital, finding strategic investors, and leading the exit process either through an IPO or a sell-side M&A process. Past companies he has advised include Alcatel, Dassault Systemes, Nexans, NYNEX, Bell Atlantic, Cable & Wireless, Deutsche Telecom, as well as many Asian based operators and a long list of smaller private and public companies.

Prior to joining Blue Beacon Capital, Mr. Bonebrake led the Technology and Communications Group at middle market investment bank Sanders, Morris Harris. Before joining Sanders, Morris Harris he was CEO of Dry Fly Technologies, a telecommunications equipment startup focused on the residential market. Mr. Bonebrake also led the European Technology investment banking team for Cowen & Company and the Asian TMT team for Lehman Brothers. Mr. Bonebrake began his career with Booz, Allen & Hamilton as a strategy consultant to the telecommunications sector.

Mr. Bonebrake received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Art History also from Northwestern University.
